Strings Program |
OUR MUSIC PROGRAM serves grades 1-5. Each class has music for 40 minutes once a week. In music class, students are learning about a variety of music concepts and styles through singing, playing rhythm instruments, improvising, creating, dancing, notating, listening, evaluating, and making relationships to history, to other art forms, to other disciplines outside of art, to other cultures, and to every day life. We also have a Music Visions program for advanced music students in grades 3 through 5, a 5th grade Honors Chorus for advanced singers, and a 5th grade Strings program. Every child can benefit from a musical experience!
