August 30, 7 - 8 p.m. - Music and Art Visions parent meeting at Roebuck Elementary

September 14, 9 a.m. - School wide celebration of the Birthday of our National Anthem,

singing "The Star Spangled Banner" around the flag pole. 

October 22, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. (Saturday) - 5th grade Honors Chorus to perform for

"Creating Common Ground" ceremony for the groundbreaking of the new

Spartanburg Cultural Center, near Barnet Park in downtown Spartanburg

November 14 through 30 - Music and Art Visions Nominations accepted

November 15, 7:00 p.m. - 5th grade music program, "Discovery"

December 14 9:30 a.m. - 2nd grade music program, "Merry Christmas, Miss Crabtree"

December 19, during school - 2nd grade to sing Christmas program at nursing home

January 9 through 20 - Music and Art Visions specific screening/interviews

February 7, during school - Music Visions field trip to "Andes Manta" at the Peace Center

February 16, during school - 5th grade trip to Dorman High for Fine Arts Program

February 27 through March 3 - Music and Art Visions Final Screening

February 28, 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. - 5th grade Honors Chorus rehearsal at Roebuck Elem.

March is - Music In Our Schools Month!!

March 7, 12 noon - 1:30pm -  5th grade Honors Chorus rehearsal at Twichell Aud.

March 7, 7:00pm (at Twichell Aud.) - District 6 Choral Festival

(5th grade Honors Chorus will perform)

(March 9 - The 22nd Annual World's Largest Concert will air on PBS at 1:00pm)

March - Dorman Chorus will perform at Arcadia Elementary

March 24 (at Twichell Aud.)- 2nd and 3rd grade field trip to see the ballet

"Peter and the Wolf", performed by the Spartanburg Ballet Company

April 11, 10:30 - 11:30am (at Sptbg Memorial Aud.) - 5th grade field trip to

Spartanburg Philharmonic Concert  

April 20, 7:oopm - Spring Concert/Art Show (3rd and 4th grade Chorus and 5th grade Strings)

May - 1st grade parents visit music class
