My name is Jim Maciejewski and it is a pleasure to have your son/daughter in our Physical Education program  here at Arcadia Elementary School. A variety of activities will be covered which will be both enjoyable and rewarding. The main purpose of Physical Education in the elementary school is to offer a program that will challenge each child physically, mentally and socially. We do not expect every child to be a great athlete; however our expectation for everyone is to give their best effort.

This is my second year as the Physical Education teacher at Arcadia Elementary School. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, with a concentration in Physical Education. Prior to arriving at USC Upstate, I attended and graduated from Monroe Community College located in Rochester, NY where I was a 2 year member of the baseball team. I also spent 3 years as a member of the baseball program at USC Upstate, 2 as a players and 1 as a coach. I currently serve as an Assistant football coach at Dawkins Middle School, Assistant baseball coach at Dorman High School, and  Head Coach of the Upstate Mavericks 17 year-old showcase team.
