Seņora Gardner
Señora Gardner was born in Sacramento, California
on October 12th (Columbus Day). She and her family moved to South
Carolina right before she entered high school. Señora Gardner
graduated from Seneca High School. She had Spanish in elementary
school for four years, took it for two years in junior high, and completed
three years in high school. Señora Gardner also studied Spanish
as a student at Clemson University. During her Sophomore year, she
was selected to study abroad and live with a Mexican family in Aguascalientes,
México for the summer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and
a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Clemson University
and a Master's of Elementary Education from Converse College. Señora
Gardner taught Spanish at Boiling Springs High School for eleven years
before making the change to the elementary level in the year 2000.
She teaches Spanish full-time at Arcadia Elementary School and part-time
at Fairforest Elementary School. She has been happily married for nine years.
In her spare time, she loves to shop, listen to music, travel, and spend time
with family and friends.
