Veterans’ Day!

a short Veterans’ Day program. 

This is in honor of all our

soldiers.

CHRISTMAS BOXES!!!

Please remember that 1^st grade is putting together boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  This is a great project to teach students how to give back to others.  Please help us encourage this project by sending in 1 or 2 small items, or you may send in a dollar or 2.  There are LOTS of things to choose from at the Dollar Tree and on the 88 cent isle at Wal-Mart.  Thanks for all you do!

SFA

Each week the books we send home for SFA will get harder and harder.  It is very important to keep practicing together even if it does get hard.  Remember practice won’t make us perfect but it sure makes us better!

Cold Weather

As cold weather is finally starting to approach, please remember to send a coat with your child to school.  We go to recess before noon and it can sometimes still be quite chilly during that time.  Children without coats may be asked to stay inside.  Sometimes we do have extras with the nurse, but not enough for every child

November Guidance

The theme for November is Appreciative.  Explain to your child that being appreciative means being thankful to others when they do something kind.
