School Facilities
West View Elementary School was named for and has served the Spartanburg County community of West View for over 60 years. In 1985, eleven classrooms and a gymnasium were added to accommodate 400 students. Continued residential development in the attendance area has broadened the socioeconomic and cultural ranges of our students and families. A second wing was added in 1994 to accommodate the approximately 800 students attending. Today, West View provides 42 classrooms, a science center, gymnasium, library, speech rooms, resource rooms, orchestra room, music room, art rooms, cafeteria with stage, and an instructional computer lab. Enrollment currently averages 725 students in a kindergarten through fifth grade setting. We welcome you to visit our facility!
