Returning Student Registration

Once again, District Six parents will register their children online using a secure online company, PowerSchool Registration. You may register your child using any device that offers internet access. If your child ended the 2017-2018 school year with Spartanburg District Six, you will only need to confirm that the information from last year is correct.

Letters and emails containing new snap codes will be sent to parents ending the 2017-2018 school year. Once you receive your letter in the mail or by email, you may begin online registration by clicking the links below or the link embedded in the email. If clicking on the links below, you will need the "snap code" from that letter in order to begin the online registration process. If you did not receive a letter in the mail or an email, please contact your child's school.

Pre-K students will receive acceptance letters and packets in the mail. Only those students and brand new students should register on the new student links.

ATTENTION: If you are enrolling a first-time student, you will still need to bring the following documents to your child's school: Child's birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residence.

Answers to Common Questions about Online Registration

How do I get started?
Visit or your school's website and click the registration link under recent news. Then, enter your student’s snap code that is provided on the letter you received in the mail.

What is a snapcode?
snapcode is a secure, unique code used to register your child. You will receive a separate snapcode for each child. Please be sure to enter it exactly as it appears above, with no spaces or punctuation.

Should I create an account?
All first-time PowerSchool Registration users will need to create an account when they first visit the website. This will allow you to securely save your work and come back at a later time, if necessary. You will need an email address or a phone number. You will only have to create an account once, even if you have to register more than one child.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. Much of the information asked online is required by law, not District Six.

What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click “< Prev” to return to a previous page.

I’ve completed the form, now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.

What if I have more than one student in the district?
You will need to submit a separate online registration for each child you have in Spartanburg School District Six. Every student will have a different snapcode. We recommend that you submit one registration and begin another. This may save you time and allow part of your shared information to filter into the next child's registration process.

What if I have a student enrolling for the first time?
Visit or your school's website and click the registration link under recent news. Be sure to click "New Student Pre-registration." Upon completion, you will need to bring the following documents to your child's school during business hours: child's birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residence.

What if I have questions about the online registration process?
You may contact your child's school to ask any general questions about registration.
