E-Learning Day Jan 20

District Six will hold an E-learning day on Friday, January 21, 2022. Many roads in our area remain unsafe for travel. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop below freezing overnight through Saturday. Forecast predictions also include a chance of precipitation on Friday. Teachers will continue to provide e-learning assignments. Thank you for your flexibility during this time. Have a great evening.

 

 

January 20

District Six will hold another E-learning day on Thursday, January, 20th. Despite this afternoon’s warmer temperatures, many secondary roads in our district remain unsafe for our buses and families to travel. We attempted to run several bus routes this afternoon and many roads are still impassable. Teachers will continue to communicate assignments during this time. We certainly appreciate your understanding as we put safety first.

 

 

January 19

District Six will hold an e-learning day on January 19, 2022. We have examined road conditions in our district, and many are still unsafe for travel. Temperatures are forecasted to dip into the 20’s across the area tonight, causing additional black ice on roadways. The National Weather Service predicts slick and hazardous roads through Wednesday morning. We appreciate your patience as we make decisions with the safety of our students and staff in mind. 

 

 

 

 

January 18

Based on current weather and road conditions, Spartanburg School District Six will hold an e-learning day on Tuesday, January 18.  Teachers will communicate with students regarding assignments and will be available by email if students have any specific questions. According to the National Weather Service, the major concern is overnight freezing temperatures causing widespread black ice, making many roads impassable.Thanks for your understanding, as safety is always our top priority.
