Spartanburg County Public Virtual Program
In an effort to expand educational opportunities for students, school districts across Spartanburg County have collaborated to offer a virtual program aimed at providing a high-quality web-based learning initiative. The Spartanburg County Public Virtual Program (SCPVP) is a comprehensive, standards-based program that can be easily accessed anywhere an internet connection is available. Guardians can determine if their child is a good candidate for the virtual program after speaking with their school counselor or admin.
We encourage applications be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of each semester. Students applying for SCPVP does not guarantee enrollment as school admin and District 6 Office personnel must approve. Applications are due by the end of the first week of each school semester for guardians requesting their student to be virtual through SCPVP.
Please contact your school's guidance counselor to begin the application process. For additional information, call Mr. Matthew Nesbit, Director of Spartanburg County Public Virtual Program, at 864-216-4321.
