The Dorman Theatre Department is hosting two very important workshops to prepare students interested in auditioning for the district-wide theatre production - Wizard of Oz.
Dance Workshop for Wizard of Oz on Tuesday, Jan 16 from 4-6 pm in the DHS Dance Room A183. Students will learn dance techniques for Wizard of Oz Auditions. Please wear tennis shoes and clothes you can dance in. Bring a water bottle. You must sign in by 3:55 pm.
Audition Workshop Saturday, Jan 20 from 9 am-12 pm in the Dorman Freshman Campus Fine Arts Wing. This workshop will provide 3-12 grade students the opportunity experience the audition process, prior to auditions. Students will receive individualized guidance from the directors on singing, dancing and audition techniques. Students attending the workshop should plan to wear clothing you can dance in. Bring a karaoke version of your audition song on a device. Attending the workshop is not a requirement to audition. Please see a member of the Theatre Department faculty for more information.
